At Wetheringsett Manor School, we provide education to children aged between 11 and 18 who have a range of special educational needs.
Set in the picturesque village of Wetheringsett, in Suffolk, our site has recently benefited from significant development. Our traditional manor house has expanded to include a modern classroom block with everything teachers and students could need. We believe in delivering an exceptional education and to do this we’ve invested in creating an environment which inspires learning, which coupled with our professional teaching team, gives our students a first class start in life.
Our facilities and resources
Although parts of our site date back to circa 1843, the recent renovations have delivered a superb, high-specification education space to deliver effective modern-day teaching. Our students join our school with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs and our environment has been carefully designed to meet their individual learning requirements while ensuring they also feel safe, secure and cared for.
As learning is adapted to suit each child’s needs, we offer a variety of learning environments suitable for one-to-one sessions or modern classrooms. We also have extensive outdoor space, where children can enjoy the open air and creative learning such as forest school which is included in our curriculum.
